CHPTR’s focus is to build confidence and promote body-positivity, whilst using an evidence-based approach to nutrition and training to bring about sustainable, long-term change.

CHPTR offers real-life solutions to help you reach your goals in a realistic way, whilst also helping you to realise that you are enough as you are in this very moment. We understand that people may want to change their bodies - whether it’s the way they look, the way they feel, or the way they perform - but we want to help people realise they can work towards their goals whilst being kind to their current self.

CHPTR is founded on the beliefs that:

  • Exercise is not a punishment for the food that you’ve eaten

  • Food doesn’t need to be earned

  • Size does not define your worth, or your health

  • There is no universal ‘ideal body’ type

  • You are not a before photo

The health and fitness industry regularly offers people methods that only provide short-term results. Whether this is via calorie restrictive diets, intense workout programmes, or both at the same time, these approaches aren’t sustainable in every day life. As soon as the programme is over the restrictive methods used to achieve your goals are too difficult to maintain. Not only that, but they actually prevent people from being able to find balance with food and exercise, perpetuating this never-ending cycle of dieting.

CHPTR’s helps people to break this cycle of dieting by focusing on applying mindful decision making to nutrition, methods of self-care, and exercise. No foods are off limits; instead emphasis is placed on how we eat, rather than what we eat.
